“ I shoot with the eye of both a photographer and a mom, capturing your family with natural light and less of the fluff and more of the good stuff. I want you to feel like a friend is photographing you.”

Hello / Hola and welcome! I am a Florida-born, bilingual, full-time photographer living in Northbrook, Illinois with my husband and two children. While I now photograph and stay home with my kids, I blissfully refer to my career days (especially those at Forbes Travel Guide) as my "informal, formal" photography training. I worked closely with photographers as they captured the most spectacular places and spaces around the country. Talk about inspiration!

Before living in Northbrook, my husband and I lived in downtown Chicago and before that, I spent my mid 20’s in NYC. I’ve worked for the NY Post, Forbes Travel Guide and Gilt Groupe, but no job has made me as happy as photographing families does. They say "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life". I have to agree.

My children and travel are my biggest sources of inspiration — watching them explore a new place, as their eyes light up and the light hits just right — there’s nothing quite like it!

I am a self-taught photographer and in 2017, I started documenting my first-born's milestones. Since then, friends and their friends have asked me to capture their ordinary and extraordinary days. I am most proud that my business has grown organically, through word-of-mouth -- which is likely how you found yourself here. There is no greater compliment than a recommendation.

I shoot with the eye of both a photographer and a mom, capturing your family with natural light and less of the fluff and more of the good stuff. I want you to feel like a friend is photographing you — I can guarantee, you’ll never feel more comfortable in front of a photographer. No need for the perfect location, perfect outfit or even the perfect day. All that I need are real and raw interactions. I pour my heart and soul into your images and hope they will line your hallways for years to come while remaining classically current.

I can’t wait to work with you!

REALLY get to know me -

What is one ability that you believe everybody should possess? The ability to believe that you can re-invent yourself.

How did you meet your husband? On Match.com! He’s the yin to my yang. We are complete opposites, but also very much the same — if that can even make sense!

What are songs that inspire you? Anything by the Lumineers + Zach Bryan. I listen to them on repeat, while editing. However…my all-time favorite genre is 90’s / early 2000’s hip hop!

Do you actively post on social media? I am not as active on my professional page, as I’d like to be —but luckily clients come straight to my website! One of my 2025 goals, is to work on my social media presence.

What makes you cry? Well…I’m always the mom crying at the performances, graduations and all the kid things! I often tear up at newborn sessions, but I try to not let you see it!

What has been the most flattering compliment you've ever received? “You made me feel comfortable and beautiful.”

What would you tell your past self? There’s an instagram trend about this! I’d tell her “never say never”.

Would you move to another country? Absolutely! I lived in Chile from ages 2-12 and studied abroad in Florence. I’d love for my kids to experience life abroad. I hope they do!

Advice for a new mom? No stage lasts forever, both the difficult and beautiful ones.

New York City or Chicago? New York City in my 20’s and Chicago in my 30’s.

If you weren’t a photographer… I’d own a bed & breakfast on the beach and cook for all my guests!

Favorite quote? “The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.” -Isak Dinesen

I’m always… Planning our next trip!

Most beautiful place you’ve visited? Taormina, Sicily.

If you could have one super power? Freezing time, of course! That’s what I aim to do during every session!

Final thoughts? I’m a creative through and through and a girl’s girl. I love to dance, cook, and catch up with girlfriends over a glass of wine. My home is my sanctuary and hosting makes me incredibly happy. My undergrad degree is in psychology — human emotions, relationships and interactions have always been a source of inspiration for me.
